Drinking Water Week 2010 is a success!
A safe, reliable water supply is critical to the success of any community.
It creates jobs, supports business and investment, and provides for the health and welfare of citizens in ways ranging from disease prevention to fire suppression.
This year, water utilities, environmental advocates and others across North America celebrated drinking water through school events, public presentations and community festivals. They also provided their communities with important
tips for protecting our water supplies and conserving resources.
Thank you to everyone who participated throughout the week to draw attention to some of the most important issues facing the water community today!
